Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgarian: Велико Търново, sometimes transliterated as Veliko Turnovo) is a city in north central Bulgaria and the administrative centre of Veliko Tarnovo Province.
Often referred to as the „City of the Tsars„, Veliko Turnovo is located on the Yantra River.
